  • "Had a great stay at this new campsite. The owner was very kind and helped me with transporting my gear to the pitch with the quad. All facilities are very clean. Fridge freezer, hot shower, hairdryer, communal area to hide from the rain is available and the complimentary free wood for a campfire was an advantage. Will definitely visit it again." • "I stayed at Glanmarlais Camping for one night but I will certainly be back! This is a hidden gem in the Welsh countryside. The pitches are fantastic, and everything is well-organised. Nature is beautiful and the starry night is breathtakingly wonderful. And it is quiet. If you want a real camping experience, this is a great place. And the owners are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. “ Pol van Steelant, August 2023

  • "The night sky was spectacular - don't think any of us have ever seen so many stars... A really pleasant and relaxing 4 days - no hustle or bustle - a great family experience. We will definitely come again." Roberta S., July 2021

  • "A really beautiful and peaceful site, just a few large pitches dotted around a meadow. Compost toilets and hot shower which were always spotless. Our girls (3 and 5) had a lovely time playing in the long grass and paddling in the stream. A very warm welcome from Rosie (and her dog Tilly) who was so helpful. Rural location but large supermarket within 20 mins drive. It was pretty much perfect." Adam R., June 2022

  • "Amazing campsite. Had a blast. Rosie was super accommodating and helpful, don't think there was anything we didn't like! Tons of bird life everywhere, lush flowery meadow, occasional visit from Tilly the beagle, etc...Really appreciated the covered barn for food and packing up on leaving day as it was rainy. Looking forward to coming back!" Lily P., May 2022

  • “We had a wonderful night’s stay at this site over the August Bank Holiday. The facilities are spotlessly clean and the views from the site are incredible, with great walks available. Rosie made us feel really welcome and we look forward to returning.” Philip J., September 2022

  • “ We had a fantastic stay at Glanmarlais. Our pitch at the top of the field had brilliant views, was peaceful and perfect for star gazing at night. The facilities were spotless and the outdoor shower was lovely and hot. Rosie and her family we're so friendly and helpful (their homemade honey was also delicious!). A short drive away and you can walk Llyn y Fan Fach which has the most incredible views of the Brecon Beacons, or you can explore the Irfon Valley and swim at the Wash Pool and Wolfs Leap. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend you visit this quiet little gem of a campsite!” Kirsten Oddy, June 2023
